  • Things I do when I'm bored

    - Lie on my bed and hug my bolster
    - Check out people's profile on facebook
    - Read what fellow Xangarians are blogging (But I really dislike those hate entries thou..)
    - Apply makeup all over my face, remove, then apply all over again. (I have too much makeup to begin with anyway.)
    - Watch Porn (No blow job scenes please. I'm more inclined to watch a rape video than a blow job's.)
    - Read beauty bloggers and "beauty bloggers" blog. (And evil laugh at their nonsense for calling themselves "experts", "beauty bloggers", or even worst, the new term that they're calling themselves in disguise right now, "I'm just a blogger!".)
    - Read what those people I'm following are tweeting on twitter
    - Whatsapp my friends to disturb them. (Including in the middle of the night if I can't sleep!)
    - Play Zuma Blitz on Facebook (That is, if I am at home.)
    - Camwhore silly pictures of myself, like this!

  • Merry Christmas!

And here's my cut crease makeup look for the Christmas season. Not a very good attempt but oh wells, I'm not going anywhere to celebrate this wet Christmas anyway.

Weather has been bad for us over here in Singapore. I wish sunny days to come quick!

    Merry Christmas to you all!

  • A Christmas Joke - based on a True Story

C have issues with buying presents because he have problems with sourcing for presents (he has phobia of getting presents for others) and hence his usual way is to give his friend a few choices or ask them what present they want.

B have issues with making choices because she have decidophobia. (Phobia of making decisions/choices.) She usually will go back to the same usual place to get her stuffs (so no decisions needed) and even for presents, she'll always buy from the same place.

Being close friends for many years, C and B have never bought real presents for each other, except times when B mentioned that she needs something and C got it for her, vice versa. Now that they're all grown- ups, C decided to buy B a present and hence he gave B 2 choices to decide what she wants.

Obviously B can't make the decision at all and C finds it a hassle to get B anything else too. The conclusion, C decided not to buy any present for B. And B knowing C is a very picky person when it comes to presents, she decided not to give any present for A too.

And that's how the present-less friendship continues this Christmas. No present for each other!

P/s: I'm not joking when I say this is based on a true story. But nevertheless, happy holidays!

  • The Vampire in Meanie

For quite some time I didn't really wear circle lenses. Not because i'm not loving them anymore but is more due to the laziness of buying new ones and also to change my look according to my mood anymore. (Since my work mood is basically the same everyday... whatevah)

However, after reading Jones review on iFairy lens I am so wanting to get my hands on it. I tried searching high and low online but I am just plain unlucky; it happens during the time when news about illegal selling of contact lenses online break out and most of the blogshops that sells circle lenses are forced to close down prematurely.

But lucky me, I came across this facebook page that is holding iFairy circle lenses spree and hence I decided to get my hands on them.

Sadly, my initial orders are all out of stock and hence I chose another pair that I wasn't really keen but looks really good in their photos - Kirei Brown.

I've never been a fan of brown circle lenses. I am a brown-eyed girl myself and most of the time wearing brown circle lens only makes my eye looks yellow or orange. Hazel doesn't help either, it just makes not much of the difference.

But still, I decided to give iFairy a try.

The lens looks yellowish to me, and as expected, it makes my eyes look yellowish-grey upon wearing it.

It doesn't remind me until my cousin mentions that me wearing Kirei brown makes my eyes look like vampire's.

I do have to agree on that to a certain extend! Really pardon my ultra messy hair. I've been so fed up with it that I feel like shaving it all off or simply cut it short.

And with purple eyeshadow it does remind me that I am such a vampish freak LOL.

I've been wearing it for the whole of this week and I must say this is my current (al)most most loved pair of circle lens. Not because of its color but because it is so comfy, I can wear continuously for 13 hours without any irritation. I have sensitive dry eyes and most lens can only last me 4 hours maximum before my eyes start to feel dry. iFairy lens on the other hand, I only started to feel the dryness of my eyes after 10 hours of wearing it. I bought 2 pairs during the spree and I have not try on the other pair yet. Will probably see how it goes after I try on that pair. winky

  • Let's see

If you might have already notice, I've made some change to the pictures on the right column of my blog.

I've already made up my mind as to how I should change my header. But, I am just TOO busy with work! Hopefully I can find some time this weekend to finish up my ring light then do up the photo shoots!

The recent SMRT train issue in Singapore is driving me crazy. I'm leaving home the same time but reaching office at least 10 minutes later. Bleahz!

If you don't know what I'm talking about, go google SMRT and I'm sure you'll be bombarded with tons of news about it.

And yes, time to update on my weight loss progress! I should have done so in November but I totally forgot about it.

Shall do so before 2011 ends... silly

  • Help me please!

I've been wanting to change the header picture for the longest time ever but I simply can't think of what kind of picture I should use or how should I change it.

The pictures used for the collage in the headers totally don't look like me anymore and in fact I feel that it's a wee bit of erm, childish for my age. (AWWWWW... I feel old. whatevah)

I am really open for suggestions for my new header. Anyone can help me with this??

Should I be doing another collage, or just a photo of me, or just my blog name, or those cool professional photoshoot kinda pictures, or what?

Please help me spread the word and give me suggestions. Pretty please?

  • I ♥ taimei

If there's one snack that I say I am truly addicted to, I have to say it's the lemon crispy chicken and sweet potato with sour plum from them.

No joke, I love it so much that every single time I went down to Bugis Junction I'll definitely be buying it. Drinks wise I change each time according to my mood but I'm always ordering the same set of food to eat. =P

To be continued... I need to sleep now cos I got to work in 4 hours' time!

    Continued at December 07 12.20am:

And so, why am I so addicted to this I ♥ taimei?

Especially when the price isn't even considered as cheap in the first place...

$8.40 seriously is enough for me to buy 2 meals with drinks!

Because they have really tasty sour plum sweet potato!

It's so soft yet sweet and sourly, I can't stop eating the moment I start.

And the one that I always ordered, Hebe! Crispy chicken with lemon. Yum yumz.

The chicken are big and juicy and with that lemon tinge, super irresistible!

I tried the caramel milk tea the other day. Not exactly my cup of tea thou. (No pun intended!)

And in fact, they have their own website and facebook too!

Do visit them if you have the chance to be in Singapore!

P/s: I am not affiliate to them. I am blogging about them simply because I really love their food.

  • The Happening Month of November

November is now history but I can't help but to keep thinking of all the events that happened.

As a kick start, I have a new colleague who joined our team and he's really very experienced, now I'm hoping that I can learn a lot from him.

Then comes a sad news that I lost the thank you card + $150 vouchers that my big boss gave me. (But I am VERY CERTAIN that it's stolen because I placed it on my table then it's gone after I went out to settle some work. Oh wells...)

Then continuing the month, 2 weddings!

My 2 dresses that I've prepared to wear for the wedding.

    First was my beloved Sandra.

The unglam side of her eating in her toilet before the whole wedding ceremony kicks in...

I wasn't part of her bridesmaid team because the date somehow crashes with my zodiac and hence I am only there to help out with all the stuffs.

Sadly, SOMEONE in the picture is simply nothing but an eyesore and drama queen. I'm so glad the drama is now over!

Sandra's gatecrashing starts at 6.30am and hence the darkness in the photos. It's tiring okie!

I can't even be there to witness this scene myself. *sobs*

She had her wedding ceremony later that evening in the restaurant.

Yannyi, Cindy, Sandra and Me. Pardon my messy hair! The rain spoils it all. bitter

With Yannyi and Cindy at the reception.

And immediately after that tiring day, I have another wedding the next day.

    And it's my NBFF Feli!

Bleahz... See that freaking ugly sore on my lip. whatevah

Kelvin aka the groom, Sam, Cheryl, me and Yanny.

I didn't really have much time to take pictures on that day, simply because the timeline is very tight and there's a lot of things to rush.

But still, I manage to take a picture of Feli's train for her wedding gown. One word: GORGEOUS!

As you can see I'm so lack of sleep that my eye bags can hold a golf ball I swear.

Then later the month, we had our department's Christmas party held at NSRCC bungalow.

There's too many photos and hence I decided to consolidate them into one.

Then comes the bomb that for the first time in my life, my probation is not confirmed and hence I may be asked to leave my job anytime.

Oh wells, perhaps it's really a jinx since this is the first job that I am given name cards before confirmation. In fact I wasn't even given name cards for all my previous jobs. Maybe I am really not suitable to work there, I don't know. Sometimes it just seems that whatever I do it's not good enough?

Well, we'll see how it goes then. winky

  • Hoodie Greenie

I haven't been wearing my lovely hoodies ever since I started my current job, all because of work image concerns and also, weekends are now more for stay-at-home cozy moments with the housework and Joeness.

Since it rains heavily today and I am really in the mood of wearing my hoodie, time to camwhore!

Oooo I love this picture. Flawless skin! *living in denial*

Trust me when I say I don't wear a lot of makeup... Even though I do admit that I own A FREAKING HELL LOAD of it.

    Meanie Face

    - Shiseido Perfect Refining Foundation in B20
    - Shiseido Natural Finish Cream Concealer
    - Revlon ColorStay Pressed Powder in Light Medium
    - Majolica Majorca Brow Customize in BR782
    - Daiso Multi-Cheek in Brown
    - Za Plumper Lipstick in 08 Ruby Rich

I don't wear eyeliners or eyeshadows today because, I wanna give my peepers a break from all the pigmentations today. Sometimes, less is more isn't it?
